Terms of Use

By using the Restricted Licence Eligibility Screener at restrictedlicence.com.au, you agree to these terms. The tool is operated by Oxley Barristers & Solicitors, Launceston, Tasmania.

This is not legal advice

The screener is a preliminary tool that checks your situation against the eligibility criteria in the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 (Tas) and the Road Safety (Alcohol and Drugs) Act 1970 (Tas). It does not constitute legal advice. The result you receive is based on the information you provide and may not account for all the circumstances relevant to your matter.

You should not rely on the screener result alone when making decisions about your licence. We recommend speaking with a lawyer before taking any steps.

Accuracy and limitations

We take care to ensure the screening logic reflects current legislation, but laws can change. The tool may not cover every possible situation. If the screener cannot determine your eligibility, it will tell you so and recommend that you seek legal advice.

No lawyer-client relationship

Using this tool does not create a lawyer-client relationship with Oxley Barristers & Solicitors. A lawyer-client relationship is only formed when you formally engage us to act on your behalf.

Contact form

If you choose to submit your details through the contact form, you consent to Oxley Barristers & Solicitors using your contact details and screening conversation to contact you about your matter. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how your information is handled.

Availability

We aim to keep the tool available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. If the tool is unavailable, you can contact us directly by phone or through our website.
